Keys are essential to access your nodes, so be extra careful when working with them. It's required to generate Private and Public keys before you deploy any node.

To generate the keys will take no more than a minute of your time.

Steps:

1. Go to Node Deployment ➡ Settings and click on "Generate private key" button.

Note: You can also generate a private key from the Deploy a Node section.

2. Read all the precautions. Type YES, then click on the "Generate and download the private key" button.

3. Your private key is generated and sent in PPK file format.

You can check out your public key by clicking on the "Show public key" button.

Note: If you forget your private key, you can re-generate it by accessing the corresponding button in your Node deployment settings. This can be done only before node deployment. If you need to restore your keys after the deployment, please reach out to our Customer Support.
